Project Fun Day - Jason Wu

The designer Jason Wu, 26, has been on the fashionista radar since Michelle Obama chose his subtly sparkly one-shoulder, pale ivory chiffon confection — conjured up on spec and offered free — as her gown for Inauguration night. Mr. Wu, who anticipates $4 million in sales in 2009, works from a studio on West 37th Street and lives across town, on East 48th Street, with his two cats, Peaches and Jinxy.
Sunday, he said, is “a stress-free, revive-the-batteries kind of day,” the time to do “all the things in the city that I never get to do when I’m working.” Read article at nytimes.com.
